Olympics Tennis Semifinals 2012 Schedule and Time: When to Watch Roger Federer Play and Novak Djokovic vs. Andy Murray

Aug 02, 2012 09:53 PM EDT

Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Juan Martin del Potro are the four semifinalists in the Men's Singles. After four long rounds in the 2012 London Olympics, they finally have a chance to be one the two players to fight for gold.

We know one thing though, one of these four men will leave home without a medal.

The action begins on Friday with Roger Federer taking the court against the Argentinian del Potro. They will take Centre Court at 7 a.m. ET/12 p.m. GMT.

Earlier on Thursday, Federer faced off against American John Isner. He looked shaky at times, but eventually took advantage of all of Isner's miscues.

The match was more exciting than expected being that Federer was playing a No. 10 ranked player. Federer provided drama as he staged small comebacks in both sets. He wrapped up the match winning the tiebreaker, earning his way into the semis.

His semifinal opponent del Portro got passed Japanese surprise Kei Nishikori in Federer fashion. Their quarterfinal matches had the same score, 6-4, 7-6. As he also had to earn his way into the semis via the tie breaker in the last set.

Andy Murray advanced to the Semifinals after defeating Nicolas Almagro. Murray had trouble in the first set, but Almagro had sharp pains on his shoulder and could not keep up with Murray's aces. Murray finished with 15 aces and won 6-4, 6-1.

Novak Djokovic made sure Jo-Wilfried Tsonga rolled over before the four hour mark. Djovkovic defeated the Frenchman 6-1, 7-5.

Novak Djokovic (2) will play against Andy Murray (3) following the Victoria Azarenka and Serena Williams match on Centre Court. They will hit the court at approximately 11 a.m. ET/4 p.m. GMT.

Federer is still the top ranked player in competition and del Potro is the 8th.

These semis will be to die for.
