English Premier League Table Standings: Chelsea Leads EPL Over Manchester United, Man City, Arsenal

The English Premier League table has Chelsea in the lead over Manchester City and Manchester United in the EPL standings heading into Christmas, with the Blues on top of Man City, Man United, West Ham and Southampton in the top five, while Arsenal, Tottenham, Swansea City, Newcastle and Liverpool round out the top 10 ahead of Everton with 2015 on the horizon.

Chelsea remains in first place with a three point lead over Man City and while United is in third place, they are 10 points clear of the Blues. The Blues have to worry about Man City, but right now they have no one else to worry about as they move through the busy Christmas and holiday schedule. The Blues have been the best team in the EPL and until a couple weeks ago they had no losses and now they continue to be the highest scoring team in the league.

Chelsea has the best goal differential, the most wins, points and goals scored this season and they lead Man City by three points. Man City and United have both played very well over the past month and they are in ahead of West Ham and Southampton in the top five. Arsenal is looking to get back into strong form and they are coming in at number six after finishing in the top four last season.

The group with Arsenal has Southampton ahead in fifth by two points, while West Ham is in fourth at two points clear of Southampton. Arsenal leads Tottenham on goal differential, as they are tied in points, with the Spurs ahead of Swansea City on the table. The Swans are in ahead of Newcastle by two points, while Liverpool is in the 10th spot and they come in one point back of Newcastle.

The bottom half of the table has Liverpool leading Everton by one point, while Aston Villa is next in the league standings. Stoke City and Sunderland are next on the list ahead of West Brom, while QPR and Crystal Palace are next ahead of Burnley, Hull City and Leicester in relegation. The Christmas schedule is busy as usual, with 10 games coming on the Friday after the holiday on the EPL calendar.

Chelsea has West Ham play at Stamford Bridge, while Man United will host Newcastle at Old Trafford. Man City and west Brom play, while Everton matches up with Stoke City, Burnley hosts Liverpool and Arsenal will play against QPR at the Emirates. Chelsea remains the favorites along with defending champions Man City, as the Blues have been the most consistent of anyone.

Chelsea will play against West Ham and then Southampton before a game with Tottenham and then the team has the FA Cup third round. The team has a huge matchup with Man City at the end of January and that will be at Stamford Bridge. The team will follow that up with Aston Villa and then Everton on the schedule. Man City plays against West Brom next and they have Sunderland and Burnley coming up after that along with a matchup in the FA Cup.
