The Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic are playing live on the NBA schedule on Friday night and the matchup from the Amway Center starts at 7 pm ET as LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving play after losing to the Heat on Christmas and now the Cavs are trying to bounce back against another Florida team.
James and company lost by 10 to the Miami Heat and they will next play against the Pistons after matching up with the Magic. Miami gave Cleveland a tough fight and and now they have two of the worst teams in the league on the schedule next. The team comes in after getting 30 points and eight assists from James and now they will be looking to knock off Orlando on the road.
Cleveland is 17-11 on the season, while the Magic are just 11-20 and the Cavaliers are ranked 10th in the league in points per game at 103 per contest. The team is in the top half in defense and ninth in assists per game and they should have an easy matchup with Orlando. The team is currently second in the division to the Chicago Bulls in the central and they are just 6-6 on the road this season.
The Cavaliers now will be without Anderson Varejao for the rest of the season after losing him before the Miami Heat matchup. The game against Miami was greatly anticipated and now the Cavs are moving past that, with James making his return to South Beach for the first time since leaving. James led the cavs in scoring against Miami, while Kyrie Irving had 25 points and Kevin Love had 14 points and five rebounds.
