Aug 03, 2012 10:11 AM EDT

American Tennis Champion Serena Williams and World No. 1 Victoria Azarenka will battle in the semi finals of the 2012 London Olympics Games at 9:30 am ET on Friday August 3rd, being played here on outdoor grass courts in All England Club in London.

Serena crushed Azarenka last month on the way to her fifth Wimbledon title, and the Belarussian will have to produce something special to avoid a similar fate on Centre Court later today as Williams has been looking onimously good so far.

Continuing from where she left at Wimbledon, World No. 4 Serena Williams has been enjoying a tremendous form of late and it would be pretty apt to say that she is the most favorite contender to win an Olympic gold this time at the 2012 London Olympic Games. Serena has been enjoying a 15 match winning streak at the moment and has four titles this year.

Azarenka has struggled to recapture the form which saw her go unbeaten until the end of March, but she's become an expert in producing her best at exactly the right time during her rise to the top of the rankings, and she upped her game at the end of both sets to see off Angelique Kerber 6-4 7-5.

Both the players are facing for the tenth time in their career, where Serena leads with a 8-1 win loss head-to-head record. The pair last meet at 2012 Wimbledon Championship semi final, as Serena clinches victory in two sets with a 6-3, 7-6 score line. As per thepredictions, Serena is having most of the chances to win semi final and reach 2012 London Olympics finals, being played here on outdoor grass courts in All England Club in London.
