NFL free agency for 2015 has some big names like Dez Bryant, Demaryius Thomas, Darrelle Revis, Randall Cobb, Jason Pierre-Paul, Julius Thomas, Justin Houston, Ndamukong Suh, Greg Hardy, Devin McCourty, Cliff Avril, Brian Orakpo, Michael Crabtree, Nick Fairley, Jordan Cameron, Jeremy Maclin, Torrey Smith, C.J. Spiller, Brandon Flowers, Ryan Mathews, Mark Ingram, Mark Sanchez and Brian Hoyer on the market and teams like the Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders could be big players this spring.
The Browns and Raiders are two teams with money to spend this offseason along with the New York Jets and many expect those teams to be active in free agency. It's very likely that the Cowboys will re-sign DeMarco Murray and Dez Bryant, but since both of those players are going to cost a ton, it will be interesting to see if anyone else can sway them to leave. Tony Romo is signed to a huge contract and that could make bringing back Bryant and Murray difficult. Murray and Bryant each had career seasons and they are in line for some big money moving forward.
The Denver Broncos have two major free agents in Demaryius Thomas and Julius Thomas and while they want to keep both, they may have to let one go. Thomas the WR has had some amazing stats to start his career and that should lead to a major payday. Thomas the TE doesn't have as much production as Thomas overall, but in the past two seasons he has turned out to be as good of a TE as anyone. The Broncos offense is their strength and after putting up over 100 catches and 1500 yards, Thomas is expecting to get paid.
Bryant could command over $15 million per season, while Thomas could also be in that wheelhouse. Suh comes in after getting suspended again and while he is a mess at times, he also is a very good player. Teams like the Giants, Jets or Bears could be interested, as all three need defensive line help. Justin Houston had a huge season for the Chiefs and he will be targeted by anyone that needs to bring more pressure on the QB.
The NY Giants also have a number of free agents to deal with, including Jason Pierre-Paul and Antrel Rolle on the defensive side of the ball. JPP has the chance to get paid big money, as he bounced back with over 12 sacks this season after having eight the past two years combined. Revis is a top target for the Patriots and other teams that need help in the secondary and the Jets could get back in the mix for him if he leaves NE.
Cobb is likely staying in Green Bay, but he should get some major attention on the market as well. Murray has the chance to sign a major deal and all signs point to him remaining with the Cowboys. Mark Sanchez and Brian Hoyer are two QBs that will be getting attention, while Mark Ingram and CJ Spiller along with Ryan Mathews could be the top running backs, as a number of teams need help at the RB position.
