Great Britain and China will hook up as one team will capture their first victory of the London 2012 Olympics as the Men's Basketball preliminaries begin to take shape.

Great Britain has gone 0-4 in their matches. They have come close to victories, while suffering great defeats.

Probably the toughest defeat came against Spain. They entered the third quarter with 12-point deficit and managed to trim the deficit to as little as two points with just 21 seconds left in the quarter, but could not finish the rally as Spain escaped with the 79-78 victory.

Great Britain lost their most recent game against Australia in an embarassing 106-75 defeat.

For China it has been the same story, except they have lost by double digits in all of their games.

Spain started off their Olympic journey against China, crushing them 97-81. Russia then took a shot at China with a 73-54 routing. Australia played China and won 81-61. Most recently China faced Brazil and once again were held to less than 60 points as Brazil defeated them 98-59.
