Olympics 2012 Women's Soccer Live Stream: USA vs. Canada Play in Semifinals at 2:45 P.M. ET

The defending 2008 gold medalists will face off against Canada in the Women's Soccer semifinals at the 2012 London Olympics on Monday. The USA will look to advance into the finals and once again capture the gold medal.

Team USA is coming off of a fresh 2-0 win against New Zealand in the quarterfinals. They finished the qualifiers with a perfect 3-0 record and have not allowed a goal since giving up two to France in the first game of the first round.

Since their 4-2 victory the U.S. shutout Colombia 3-0 and North Korea 1-0.

Coming into the Olympics Sports Illustrated had the U.S. team as the favorite to win the gold saying they would avenge their 2011 loss in the World Cup.

The Canadian team barely made it to the quarterfinals as they only won one game in the first round. They defeated South Africa 3-0 in their second game of the first round. They lost to Japan 2-1 and tied with Sweden 2-0.

In a shocker felt by the homecrowd, Canada eliminated Great Britain's team from competition with a 2-0 victory. Great Britain had not lost a game during the first round, and though Sports Illustrated did not have them as a team that could win a medal, the British squad was proving them otherwise.

Canada will look to continue upsetting higher ranked teams as they search for a gold medal in the London Games.
