The football transfer window in Europe is open and that means rumors are abound and Pro Soccer Talk has some of the latest, including on Luis Suarez and his possible move to Manchester United or another team in the Premier League, as well as the potential move of Mario Balotelli from the EPL to Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1.
Even Pro Soccer Talk admits this is the "silly season", but the Daily Mail reports that Suarez could be on his way out of Barcelona already with everything that is going on this season. Suarez moved on from Liverpool during the summer after his World Cup biting incident and so far at Barca it has been a tough adjustment after his lengthy suspension. According to the Daily Mail, Suarez has Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal as his potential targets in a transfer from Barcelona.
Suarez is just 27-years-old and he moved to Camp Nou after having a fantastic season at Liverpool. Suarez has played in 12 games and has scored three goals following his suspension and with all that's going on in the executive ranks with Barca, it could be time for a move. The move would cost upwards of $128 million and the club comes in with the transfer ban along with a presidential election.
According to the Daily Mail, the team is in a bit of turmoil with the firing of sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta and the resignation of his assistant Carles Puyol and the team could now look at moving Suarez. Suarez was out for four months after his biting incident and has scored just one in La Liga play, adding two more goals in Champions League games. The team has already lost three time in La Liga play and Suarez has had a hard time fitting into the scheme.
In the EPL, Chelsea and Man City are tied atop the EPL table in all categories, with 14-4-2 records and 46 points apiece and they also have the same amount of goals scored and allowed. Balotelli could also be on the move, as the Daily Express reports that French side Paris Saint-Germain could be interested after the Italian star moved to Anfield. Balotelli has struggled for the Reds, scoring just one goal since coming over from AC Milan.
