English Premier League Table Standings: Chelsea Leads EPL Over Manchester City, Man United, Tottenham

The English Premier League table has Chelsea atop the standings once again over Manchester City after the EPL results this weekend and the Blues now lead Man City, Manchester United, Southampton and Tottenham in the top five, while Arsenal, West Ham, Liverpool, Swansea City and Newcastle round out the top 10 teams.

Chelsea and Manchester City came into the weekend with exactly the same results after all this time, but now Chelsea leads the EPL. Chelsea now leads by two points after Man City had a draw on Saturday and they are one better in goals and two better in goal differential heading out of the weekend. Chelsea has 15 wins on the season to lead the league and they have a considerable lead over Manchester United and are comfortably in position to end the season as a top three/two team.

Man United still has to play and they come in with 37 points and they are one point ahead of Southampton, while Tottenham is next with 34 points. Arsenal and West Ham are tied on points, while Liverpool is working to get out of their funk and they are in eighth with 32 points. Swansea City and Newcastle are next on the standings and they are ahead of Stoke City and Everton. Aston Villa is next ahead of West Brom and Sunderland in the middle of the pack, while Burnley and Hull City are next in the standings.

The bottom teams in the standings on the EPL table include QPR, Crystal Palace and Leicester City, who are tied at the bottom with 17 points apiece. Liverpool won over Sunderland with a 1-0 score to start the weekend, while Everton was able to pull a draw at home against Man City and that was big for Chelsea, as they were able to get some revenge on Newcastle and now are back in sole possession of first place on the EPL table.

Chelsea won 2-0 against Newcastle and now they have a two point lead, while Leicester City held at home against Aston Villa and Burnley won over QPR. Swansea City and West Ham drew, while West Brom won over Hull City ahead of Tottenham and Crystal playing. Sunday has Arsenal hosting Stoke City at the Emirates, while Man United hosts Southampton at Old Trafford.
