Olympics 2012 Basketball Live Stream: Watch Team USA Take On Australia in the Quarterfinals at 5:15 PM ET

Aug 08, 2012 04:45 PM EDT

Team USA has moved on to the quarterfinals stages of the 2012 London Olympic basketball tournament and is set to face Australia in the first round.

After going a perfect 5-0, even with a minor scare against Lithuania, Team USA looks poised to continue dominating the remainder of the tournament.

On paper going up against Australia should be easy for a team full of NBA superstars.

The Aussies are 3-2 in group play and won three straight before hitting a roadblock with Spain and Brazil in their last two games.

There's plenty of scoring talent for the Australians that Team USA need to keep in mind.

Australia's Patrick Mills is averaging over 20 points and 4 rebounds per game.  Mills averaged 10 points per game this year with the San Antonio Spurs and is one of the more underrated players in international play.

Combine Mills with Matt Dellavedova and you have the two most dangerous weapons that the Aussies possess.

Both guards are adept scorers and willing passers, and they will need to exploit a sometimes-lackadaisical Team USA perimeter D.

Should the Aussies squeak out a win, it would be considered one of the biggest upsets in international basketball history.
