The Men's Middle Weight class has the table set for its finals' bout between Brazilian Esquiva Florentino Falcao and Japan's Ryota Murata won their bouts.
Falcao defeated British boxer, Anthony Ogogo 16-9, while Ryota Murata (2) of Japan defeated Uzbekistan's Abbos Atoev
Ogogo and Falcao's fight was close fight at first as both boxers tied in the first round 3-3. Nobody really had the advantage as both boxers exchanged punches.
The British Ogogo started out the round on the attack, but the Brazilian finished the second round in strong fashion as he won the round 6-3.
The Brazilian came out on the attack in the third round knocking out Ogogo twice. He would not let Ogogo release a punch and finished knocked him out. He made a valiant effort to get back into the match, but was too potent.
The bout between Murata and Abbos Atoev of Uzbekistan was much more tactical. Both fighters stood in the middle of the ring and slugged it out. It looked more like a territorial fight between two rams as the locked head-to-head for most of the first round.
There was more action coming from the stands as impatient fans could not deal with teir slow style of boxing. Atoev landing a few brisk punches towards the end of the match to silence the critics and took the round 4-1.
Japan's Murata came out firing with upper cuts in the second round as both boxers assumed their first round positions. Atoev snapped out and landed a combination of hooks on the Japanese.
Atoev constistently stepped back and fired at Murata's head with hooks, creating loud thuds as he landed with authority.
In the end, however, Murata battled back, dazing the fighter from Uzbekistan in the third round taking the victory.
