Olympics 2012 Schedule: Volleyball, Boxing and Basketball Highlight Competitions, Entire List of Events Available

The action will get started early in terms of Eastern TIme on the final day of events at the London 2012 Olympics. It has been two weeks filled with drama, defeat and victory. Here is the entire schedule of the games taking place on Sunday, beginning at 3 a.m. ET/8 a.m. GMT. 

The Women's Modern Pentathlon will be the first event kicking off the final day. It will begin at 3 a.m. ET. The swimming portion will begin at 7:30 a.m. ET/12:30 p.m. GMT. Followed by Riding at 9:35 a.m. ET/2:35 p.m. GMT. At 1 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. GMT they will battle for gold in the combined event to close out the competition. 

The next event starting 30 minutes after is Wrestling. The Men's 66kg and 96kg Freestyle finals will take place as wrestlers will attempt to make it into the final occurring later on in the day at 7:45 a.m. ET/12:45 p.m. GMT

Men's Indoor Volleyball will then take center stage as Italy and Bulgaria hit the court at 4:30 a.m. ET/9:30 a.m. GMT. They will be followed two hours later by Russia vs. Brazil, who will battle for gold. The action here begins at 8 a.m. ET/1 p.m. GMT.

Men's Water Polo starts a 5:20 a.m. ET/10:20 a.m. GMT with the U.S. taking on Australia, immediately followed by Spain vs. Hungary for the classificiations. The gold medal matches will be Montenegro vs. Serbia for bronze, while Croatia vs. Italy for gold and silver.

The last three out of the last four sports begin at 6 a.m.; Athletics, Men's Basketball and Men's Handball all begin at the same time. 

Men's Marathon in Athletics will begin at 6 a.m. and end at around 8:45 a.m. ET/1 p.m. GMT.

Men's Basketball starts at 6 a.m. ET/11 a.m. GMT with Argentina vs. Russia for the bronze medal. USA vs. Spain will battle for the silver and gold. 

Men's Handball  starts at 6 a.m./11a.m. with the bronze match between Hungary vs. Croatia, while Sweden vs. France will wait until 10 a.m. ET/3 p.m. GMT to begin their pursuit for gold. 

Men's Boxing begins at 8:30 a.m. ET/1 p.m. GMT with the Men's Fly (52kg), immediately followed in succession by the Light (60kg), Welter (69kg) Light Heavy (81 kg) and Super Heavy (91kg+) weight classes. It is believed to wrap up by 10:30 a.m.
