NFL New And Rumors: Released Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada 911 Call of Domestic Dispute (Listen)

Police of Davie, Florida released Monday night the 911 call made by the neighbor of Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada during their domestic violence dispute that took place this pass Saturday.

In the tape the neighbor says the Saturday night altercation involves a "high profile person" and he repeatedly urges police to not make a big scene when coming into the South Florida neighborhood.

During the call, the neighbor tells Lozada to wipe the blood from an open wound on her head. The neighbor tells the dispatcher that Lozada would likely be in need of stiches.

You can her Lozada in the background explain to the neighbor that Johnson had headbutted her.

The confrontation came barely a month after Johnson married Evelyn Lozada, of the reality TV show "Basketball Wives." Lozada confronted him about a receipt she found for a box of condoms, police said. According to an arrest affidavit, Lozada said she was taking groceries into their home when she found the receipt in the car trunk.

When questioned by police, Johnson confirmed there was an argument over the receipt, but said his wife had head-butted him.

Johnson was released from jail on $2,500 bond earlier Sunday and was charged with domestic battery, a misdemeanor. Johnson's defense attorney, Adam Swickle, said an order has been issued that prevents Johnson from contacting Lozada. Swickle declined to comment further.

If convicted, Johnson faces a maximum penalty of one year in jail and a $1,000 fine. He could also receive community service, probation or anger management classes.

Upon Johnson's release from jail, the Miami Dolphins were taking part of Sunday practice. The Dolphins front office then decided to terminate Johnson's contract at that time.
