Chile youngster Angelo Henriquez was over the moon after completing a medical with Manchester United, although the Red Devils are yet to officially announce the deal.

The highly-rated 18-year-old striker is expected to complete is move officially in a couple of days, with the forward expected to meet Sir Alex Ferguson, who was busy wrapping up the transfer of Robin Van Persie, soon.

Henriquez will most likely go out on loan for the upcoming season, with a move back to Universidad de Chile the most likely. United, who had an agreement in place with Universidad for a while now, quickly moved in to wrap up the deal, believed to be worth £4 million ($6.2 million), for the prolific teenager after Manchester City reportedly showed interest.

Henriquez, who is still trying to wrap his head around signing for United, was delighted to complete his "dream" move to Old Trafford.

"I am super happy to get to Manchester United. I'm fulfilling a dream," he told Chile newspaper La Tercera.

"I am going where I wanted.

"You look on television and see the outstanding players, scoring spectacular goals. I cannot waste this opportunity.

"It is not clear what will happen with my future.

"I want to play in the first team of Manchester United. That's my first thought.

"If they decide to send me on loan, I would prefer to continue at Universidad, although I will do whatever United deem appropriate."
