Saints Trade Rumors: Kenny Stills To Miami Dolphins, Drew Brees Over Brandin Cooks Options With CJ Spiller Signs?

The New Orleans Saints are continuing to look at trade deals after moving Jimmy Graham, as players like Kenny Stills, Marques Colston, Kenny Vaccaro, Khiry Robinson, Nick Toon, Jahri Evans and Keenan Lewis could all be on the block, as reports have the team putting everyone but Drew Brees and Brandin Cooks for sale and this comes as CJ Spiller and Reggie Bush are free agent targets.

The Saints are coming into free agency after making a stunning trade with Jimmy Graham and according to reports, they could be looking at making other moves. Pro Football Talk reports that the team is "shopping everyone" but Drew Brees and Brandin Cooks, while NBC Washington reporter Dianna Marie Russini wrote on Twitter that Kenny Still has been placed on the trading block. The Saints had one of the worst cap situations in the league and that is one reason why they traded Graham.

--UPDATE: Reports have Stills going to the Dolphins in a trade. CJ Spiller is signing with the Saints.

The team signed back Mark Ingram in free agency to a four year deal and that came after the team released Pierre Thomas. The Saints let go of Darren Sproles last year by trading him to the Eagles and now Thomas is out and that could lead to the team adding depth in free agency. According to ESPN.com, the Saints are meeting with CJ Spiller and a report from NOLA.com reports that Reggie Bush could be in the mix for a return.

Spiller is a free agent from the Bills and he is not signing back there after the team added LeSean McCoy in a trade with the Eagles. Spiller and Bush could fit the mold of what Sproles and Thomas used to do for the Saints, as they are very strong receivers out of the backfield. Bush made his bones in New Orleans and had some strong years catching the ball and he progressed as a runner after leaving NO. Bush dealt with injuries last season and he could be a change of pace player with Ingram coming back.

Spiller also dealt with an injury last season and missed seven games after injuring his collarbone, but he was able to return right at the end of the year. Spiller has not been as productive as he was in 2012, which is when he put up his best career numbers with 1244 rushing yards, 459 receiving yards and eight touchdowns with 43 catches. Last season Spiller had just 300 yards rushing and 19 catches and he would be counted on to stay healthy if the Saints bring him in.

The Graham trade was shocking for the Saints, but after looking at the money some could justify what the team did, as they clear cap space for the future. The trade reports could lead to a deal for Still over a player like Colston, as teams would not have to give up too much to get him. Stills is cheap on a deal worth $585,000 in 2015 and $675,000 in 2016. Last season Stills stepped up with 63 catches for 931 yards and three touchdowns and he is coming into just his third year in the league and has loads of potential.
