Philadelphia Eagles Rumors: Sam Bradford, Matt Barkley Traded for Marcus Mariota Deal? Tim Tebow Contract Denied as Michael Crabtree, Hakeem Nicks WR Targets

Philadelphia Eagles' fans are likely just trying to breath and trust Chip Kelly. The team has made the most headlines so far in the NFL offseason after they traded away LeSean McCoy and Nick Foles, acquired Sam Bradford and let Jeremy Maclin walk away to Kansas City. Their offense is certainly going through changes and could be seeing even more in the upcoming future that may or may not include Tim Tebow.

To the shock of many on Monday, the Philadelphia Eagles brought in Tebow for a workout according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Tebow has not been seen on a football field since his brief stint with the New England Patriots which came after a year with the New York Jets and two seasons with the Denver Broncos. Since then, Tebow has been on television with the SEC Network, but working out with the goal of playing in the NFL once again.

The Eagles looked like they might be the team to bring back the former Heisman trophy winner, but Schefter reports that Philadelphia will not be signing him at this time. Tebow has not gotten a single look since not making it out of training camp with the Patriots. After an exceptional college career, the NFL has yet to work out for him.

The Tebow workout likely left many scratching their heads. Right now, the Eagles quarterback rotation consists of Bradford, Mark Sanchez and Matt Barkley. For most teams, that means they are set. However, the Eagles will continue to get linked to the Marcus Mariota rumors until the former Oregon quarterback is officially on a different roster. On Monday, it was being reported by Monday Morning Quarterback writer Peter King that teams are under the impression Kelly acquired Bradford to trade him in a deal for Mariota. The Tennessee Titans are the main team of interest in a deal considering they have the No. 2 pick.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that Barkley is available for trades as well. The NFL Insider believes that the Tebow workout and the Bradford rumors are not connected, but Philadelphia is interested in potentially dealing Barkley for a late draft pick. The Eagles acquired the former USC quarterback in the fourth round back in 2013, but have yet to let him really see the field. Teams with uncertain quarterback rotations could take a look, but Barkley is not enough to be included in a deal for Mariota.

It really is anyone's guess as to who starts in 2015 for Philadelphia. In terms of contracts, Bradford has the biggest deal which would make him the starter, but Sanchez has the most experience in the offense while Mariota is Kelly's favorite player of what appears to be all-time. The head coach will continue to keep everyone guessing.
