NCAA March Madness Tournament Schedule: Start Times, TV Channels For Games Starting Thursday

The NCAA tournament has started off with play-in games and coming up on Thursday will be the official first round matchups and this will come after the 64 team field is set following the "First Four" matchups completing on Wednesday and Kentucky comes in as the favorite and they are the top overall seed ahead of Duke, Wisconsin and Villanova.

Kentucky went undefeated this season and they are the top overall seed and it comes after they won the SEC tournament this weekend. Duke got the number one seed in the South region, while Kentucky is first in the Midwest region. Wisconsin was placed first in the west region, while Arizona is number two in that region and Villanova comes as the number one seed in the east. Kansas is number two in the Midwest and Virginia is the second in the east.

The second set of play-in games has North Florida taking on Robert Morris in a 16-seed matchup and that will be for the South Region. North Florida comes into the game after a win against South Carolina Upstate, while Robert Morris comes in after winning over St. Francis BRK. The second game will have Dayton playing in front of its home crowd in an 11-seed matchup and it has Boise State as the opponent. Dayton comes in after a win against VCU and Boise State comes in after a loss against Wyoming.

The Wildcats won against Arkansas to take the SEC title and they now are undefeated heading into the tournament and if they win, they will be the first clean winner since 1976. Duke comes in after losing out in the ACC and they locked in a top seed, while Wisconsin got their seed after winning over Michigan State in overtime.

The bracket has been set with top seeds and these play in teams will complete the regional rounds for the full field of 64 teams. Kentucky was placed as the number one overall seed in the tournament after going undefeated this season and they are in the midwest, while Duke, Wisconsin and Villanova are the other No. 1's.

The Badgers won their conference tournament along with Kentucky and they will be two of the toughest teams to deal with in the tournament. Duke is number one in the south, while Villanova is the number one seed in the east. Robert Morris and North Florida are playing a 16-seed play-in game and that matchup will start at 6:40 pm ET on Wednesday. The final play-in game will be Dayton against Boise State in an 11-seed matchup and that will be on truTV.
