The Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers are playing live on the NBA schedule on Wednesday night and the matchup from Quicken Loans Arena starts at 7 pm ET and has LeBron James and company hosting BK in an eastern conference matchup as the playoffs get closer.
The Cavaliers come into the game after a loss to the Miami Heat on the road and they will play against the Pacers after the matchup with the Nets. The team comes in at first in the central division and they have been hot for the second half of the season. The team has 43 wins and they are looking as strong as ever and they are now sixth in the league in scoring per game.
James comes in after putting in 26 points and Kyrie Irving had six assists in the matchup with the Heat to lead the Cavaliers. The team has been getting things together at the right time and now they will try and bounce back from the loss to the Heat. The Nets come in 11 games under .500 and they are third in the Atlantic division and they won over the Timberwolves in their last matchup on Monday.
The Nets play against the Cavaliers and then against the Bucks and that will see the return of Jason Kidd to the Barclays Center again. The Nets have had a disappointing season and they are looking to finish on a strong note and now they have the chance to play against one of the best teams in the league. The Cavaliers feel that they can make a run to the finals and they finally are clicking in the second half after getting off to a slow start this year.
The Cavaliers are looking to win their 14th straight game at home and they have been rolling overall and the Nets should not be much of an issue at Quicken for the team. The Cavs have gone 10-5 over a recent stretch and Kyrie Irving comes in playing very well.
