The MLB Opening Day schedule gets started on Monday and it follows the Sunday Night Baseball debut for the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field to start the 2015 Major League Baseball calendar and the matchup will be on TV from ESPN2 and streaming online live from the WatchESPN website.
The Cardinals and Cubs will kick things off on Sunday night and then on Monday the rest of baseball will get started. The Toronto Blue Jays and NY Yankees are opening in the Bronx and the game will have Masahiro Tanaka on the mound against the Blue Jays. The Tigers are hosting the Twins with David Price facing off against Phil Hughes, while the Rockies and Brewers will open in Milwaukee.
The Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies open in Philly and that will have Cole Hamels and Clay Buchholz on the mound. The New York Mets and Nationals open the season in Washington and that game will be on ESPN at 4 pm ET. The Orioles and Rays matchup on Opening Day, while the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals open with a divisional matchup.
The Los Angeles Angels will open at the Seattle Mariners and the M's will have Felix Hernandez on the mound in their most hopeful opener in years. The Pirates and the Reds play in Cincy to open their season, while the Padres visit the Dodgers in Los Angeles. The Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins will play in Florida to open things up while the Indians visit the Houston Astros.
The late games on the schedule include the San Francisco Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks along with the Texas Rangers and the Oakland Athletics. The Giants and the D-Backs are playing on ESPN2 and that game will be on at 10 pm ET, while the Indians and Astros will also be on ESPN at 7 pm.
