The action is less than 24 hours away, as the FIFA U20 World Cup in Japan will have its finalists after the conclusion of the Tuesday's matches. It will be USA vs. Nigeria and Germany against Japan.
Germany, out of Group D, continues to roll in the U20 FIFA event as they have yet to lose a game in the contest. They are 4-0 and have scored 12 goals in these four matches. More impressively, they have been able to balance their efforts and have played amazing defense as they have yet to allow a goal in the 2012 World Cup.
Japan, Group A, has also yet to lose in the tournament. Fans would love to see the young ladies of their country to capture the trophy. They have been dominant winning three matches and tying one. They have scored more goals than Germany, 13, but have allowed four goals in the tournament, which is not a bad ratio at all.
The USA sneaked into the second stage at the World Cup after finishing with a 1-1-1 record. They carried this spirit into the quarterfinals, and barely got past Korea DPR in their last match. They need extended time to get the 2-1 win. They are the only second-place team to still be in contention. They are also representing Group D.
Nigeria has cruised through the tourney posting a 3-1-0 record overall. They tied against Brazil and gave up their lone goal to the Brazilians late in their second match of the first round.
PREDICTION: From the looks of it, it might come down to Nigeria and Germany for the 2012 Women's U20 World Cup.
Germany over Japan 3-2
Nigeria over USA 3-1
