The NBA playoffs are about to start, but for all the teams that are heading into the lottery, the draft is the next big thing and now both Andrew Harrison and Aaron Harrison will be turning pro, as the brothers are leaving Kentucky after losing to Wisconsin in the Final Four, ending their undefeated season.
According to Pro Basketball Talk, RealGM's Shams Charani reports that Andrew Harrison and Aaron Harrison are leaving Kentucky and will be heading into the NBA draft. The brothers are sophomores and while they played well for Kentucky over the past two seasons, most scouts do not see them as lottery picks. Both players have good size and are solid on both ends of the floor and that could make them late first round or early second round picks.
The Knicks are targeting Jahlil Okafor or Karl-Anthony Towns with their draft selection and the Kentucky star could end up being the top pick. Pro Basketball Talk reports that sophomore center Dakari Johnson will also declare for the draft.
