John McEnroe and Adam Sandler will team up versus Jim Courier and Kevin James at the 2012 U.S. Open as the Men's quarterfinals will continue to take place
Wait, is this right? You are asking yourself. Yes.
Fortunately, at least for them, they have not been added to the tournament, but they will play an exhibition game that is set to take place at 7 p.m. ET.
Sandler, comedian/actor, will play along his idol, McEnroe. McEnroe was a former American tennis player who won four U.S. Open and three Wimbledon singles. Aside for his fantastic performance on the court, he is known for his temper as he was fined throughout his career and even disqualified once for his obscene language toward court officials.
Sandler and McEnroe have been side-by-side on a big stage before as both celebrities were Sandler's "Mr. Deeds."
Joining actor and comedian Kevin James will also be a former American tennis player, Jim Courier who won four Grand Slams, two French Open and two Australian Open Singles.
James might know his opponent, Sandler, very well as both actors starred together in "Chuck and Larry."
