The World's No. 3 ranked in Men's Singles, Andy Murray, is getting ready to take the court against No. 6 Tomas Berdych at the U.S. Open 2012 semifinals.

Both players are chasing against, not only their first U.S. Open title, but their first Grand Slam title in general.

Berdych was the runner-up at Wimbledon 2010 for the best grand slam appearance in his career. He also was a quarterfinalist at this year's Australian Open.

Murray has come close to winning hist first Grand Slam title and it was almost in dramatic fashion as he finished as the runner up at Wimbledon, which would have been history.

Murray has done well, but has not dominated at the U.S. Open. He continues to have slow starts and then eventually picks it up.

He has defeated Ivan Dodig, Feliciano Lopez, Milos Raonic (15), and Marin Cilic (12).

Berdych is the one resposible for eliminating Roger Federer from competition on Wednesday. Aside from Federer, his other victims were David Goffin, Jurgez Zopp, Sam Querrey (27) and Nicolas Almagro (11).
