The NBA playoffs standings has the Cleveland Cavaliers up on the Boston Celtics 2-0 in their first round series, while the Atlanta Hawks will look to get the same lead over the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night and this comes as the LA Clippers have a 1-0 lead on the San Antonio Spurs coming into the Game 2 matchup before Game 3 this week.

The Hawks come into the matchup with the Nets after winning in Atlanta on Sunday and now the team has the chance for a 2-0 series lead. Kyle Korver had 21 points for the Hawks, while Brook Lopez added 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Nets. The Hawks held the Nets to just 17 points in the third quarter and now the team has the chance to go up 2-0 in the series. The other games on Wednesday include the Blazers against the Grizzlies, with Memphis leading 1-0, and the Clippers hosting the Spurs, with Los Angeles leading 1-0.

The Cavaliers have a 2-0 lead on Boston with the series shifting home for the Celtics and the Cavs look the part of a contender. The team has had the Celtics close in both games, but they never allowed it to get too close at the end and now they have the chance for a commanding 3-0 series lead. The Cavaliers won on Tuesday 99-91 to take the two game lead and they got 30 points and seven assists from LeBron James in the matchup.

James added nine rebounds and he bested Isaiah Thomas and the Celtics, who led after the first quarter in the game.
