The Kansas City Royals and Chicago White Sox had a bench clearing brawl in their game on Thursday night and the fight involved frequent instigator Yordano Ventura along with White Sox players Chris Sale and Adam Eaton and the fight resulted in five players getting ejected from the game.
Ventura has already been in the mix with the Oakland Athletics earlier this season and now he helped spark a fight with the White Sox. According to Hardball Talk, Ventura hit White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu in the fourth inning, which resulted in Chris Sale hitting Mike Moustakas alter in the game. Eventually, Ventura faced off against Adam Eaton and after he hit a comebacker to Ventura, the two went at it after Ventura started shouting at Eaton.
As that was happening, Lorenzo Cain started getting into it with Jeff Samardzija and eventually things went to punches. Sale also reportedly tried to get in the Royals locker room to see Ventura. All in all, five players were ejected, including Ventura, Edinson Volquez, Cain, Sale, and Samardzija
