Netherlands, though working through some growing pains, will lock horns against Hungary in their second game of the 2014 World Cup Qualifier today at Stadium Puskas Ferenc on Tuesday, September 11.
The Flying Dutchmen are brimming with confidence following their 2-0 win over Turkey in their first game of the 2014 World Cup qualification campaign on September 7. Although, the Oranje were far from their best against the Turks, they still managed to grind out a result in their favor.
Robin van Persie and Luciano Narsingh netted a goal each at either side of the half to help their side in claiming all three points.
Louis van Gaal, the Oranje boss, is already making sweeping changes to the Netherlands because he was not pleased with his troops' below par performance at Amsterdam Arena, and admitted that his side was lucky to secure all three points at the end.
Hungary head coach, Sandor Egervari, has admitted that his side will face tough competition from the Oranje, though, he has expressed confidence that his side can achieve a good result at home.
"Netherlands have too many good players in their squad. I am expecting a stern test against this motivated side", Egervari was quoted as saying to the media.
