The LA Dodgers have placed Yasiel Puig and Joel Peralta on the disabled list with injuries and now the two players will be on the 15-day DL as they recover, while Los Angeles has brought up Scott Baker and Carlos Frias to the roster.
Hardball Talk reports that Puig has been dealing with an injured hamstring for over a week after trying to make a catch and that kept him out the next three games. Puig was able to come back and looked okay, but he has been dealing with lingering pain and now Andre Ethier could come in to play right field until he comes back.
Peralta's loss is tough, as he has been filing in for Kenley Jansesn at closer and now the team may have to turn to yet another player. According to the Dodgers Twitter account, Puig and Peralta were placed on the disabled list and the team brought in Scott Baker and Carlos Frias to take their roster spots.
