It is only Week 2, there are teams already facing the possibility of going 0-2 at the start of the season. We begin with an unlikely candidate in the Green Bay Packers. Here are my predictions
Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears Bears Beat Packers 33-27
I'll keep it short and sweet. Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall face a Green Bay secondary that has yet to stop big time receivers. Their ground defense was off too on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. The Bears have the advantage over the Green Bay defense on offense. Read more on this pick.
Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys 'Boys beat 'Hawks 28-20
Tony Romo and the Cowboys began Week 1 with a vengeance as they defeated the Super Bowl champions and longtime rival New York Giants. Romo proved he and his offense can cut up any defense, especially when coverage is blown. Their defense stepped up and disrupted Eli Manning's timing throughout the game. Dez Bryant did not have a touchdown in the first game, so the Seahawks better prepare as the wide-out will look to put on a show. Seahawks should have one a weaker Arizona team on Sunday and now they might have to dig themselves out of a hole early in the season.
Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Texans 42-21
Without a doubt, the Texans are the favorite to win their game on Sunday against their division rival Jaguars. The Texans possess too much fire power to let a weaker team like the Jags beat them. Houston put on a show at home against the Miami Dolphins and they will once again put on a show for fans in Florida, this time in Jacksonville. The Jaguars had their chance to win on Sunday and they spoiled it.
Minnesota Vikings vs. Indianapolis Colts Vikings win 23-20
With Adrian Peterson on the running attack, the Colts will not find a way to stop him. The Vikings were not supposed to win against the Jaguars, but they came from behind. As Andrew Luck continues to familiarize himself with the NFL, the Vikings hold the edge and they will be the surprise team to get off to a 2-0 start in the young season. By no means am I saying that they will compete in the playoffs, but they will get their victory on Sunday.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills Bills win 30-26
The interesting part about this matchup is that both teams gave up at least 40 points in their first game of the season. The Bills have no Fred Jackson, but C.J. Spiller ran a hell of a game against the New York Jets totalling 169 yards and a TD. Ryan Fitzpatrick will not throw three interceptions once again and they will have a balanced offensive performance.
