The Tottenham Spurs and Manchester City are playing live on the English Premier League match schedule on Sunday and the match from White Hart Lane starts at 11 am ET on the NBC Sports Network and streaming on the NBCSN Live Extra website as the club tries to stay in the top four of the EPL table.
Man City is in second place with Arsenal and the Gunners have a game in hand and they will be looking to stay in the top three for the end of the season. Chelsea has things locked up and the teams now have a lead over Manchester United and they will be looking to hold onto that as the season ends. Ben Davies will be out for Tottenham for the match and he is now done for the season after dealing with a shoulder injury against Southampton.
Yaya Toure is going to be out for the match after suffering a hamstring injury against Aston Villa and the team will also be without Vincent Kompany and Stevan Jovetic. Chelsea is in the top with a huge lead and the two teams behind in Arsenal and Man City are tied with 67 points and City comes in with a tough stretch on the road, having lost four away from home in a row.
The Spurs have problems with Man City over the latest stretch of games and the team has lost seven of the last eight matches against Tottenham. The last three games have only seen the Spurs score two goals and Man City has been strong by putting in 15 over that same stretch and that could play out again on Sunday.
The Spurs come into the weekend at sixth place with 58 points and the match gives the team the chance to keep things going at the end of the season. Christian Eriksen has been scoring goals for the team this season along with Harry Kane and the team is looking to pull an upset against Man City. City has given up eight goals in the last four games and Sergio Aguero comes in after scoring four goals in the last three league games on the schedule.
