NCAAF 2012 Live Stream: Watch Online As Rutgers Takes On South Florida Today At 7:30 PM ET

Sep 13, 2012 07:29 PM EDT

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights will square off on Thursday night against the South Florida Bulls in a nationally televised Big East showdown in Raymond James Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Both teams enter the match-up with a 2-0 record after the first two weeks of the season, and a win against the other will give them a nice leg up in the conference moving ahead.

With the Big East being a virtual toss-up in recent years, Rutgers knows every game carries a little more importance. Rutgers will need to start well in conference play before the second half of their schedule with games at Cincinnati and Louisville in November.

Rutgers sophomore quarterback Gary Nova has completed just 55.3 percent of his passes through two games for 288 yards. He has been intercepted twice, while tossing three touchdowns, including two last week against Howard. Nova is one of the young offensive players to watch for Rutgers.

Sophomore running back Jawan Jamison leads the Big East in rushing with 222 yards through the first two weeks.

South Florida narrowly escaped a game against the Nevada Wolf Pack last Saturday, winning 32-31. Senior quarterback B.J. Daniels lit up Nevada's defense, throwing for 363 yards and three touchdowns. On the ground, Lindsey Lamar rushed for 85 yards on just eight carries to accompany a touchdown.
