After much anticipation, even though it has only been four days since there was a football, the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers will meet in their Thursday Night Football game set to start at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The oldest rivalry in football has a lot riding on it. The Packers are trying to prove once again that they are the best team in the NFL, yet, they lost their first meeting. With a loss tonight they would be 0-2 and a lot of questions will be left to answer.

The Packers continue to have a lackluster defense and the fact that linebacker Terrell Manning will not be active and their secondary is banged up will not help the cause to get their first win of the season. The Packers light it up on offense, but now a major piece of that offense is missing as Greg Jennings will be inactive in Thursday Night's meeting.

The Bears' quarterback, Jay Cutler, is extremely confident going into the game. He began trash talking saying that Brandon Marshall was going to be a nightmare for the Packers and wished the defense backs "Good luck."

If the New York Jets have taught us anything concerning trash talk is that it applies pressure on everybody else on the team and, usually, bad things will happen on the field.

On the other hand, Cutler and Marshall did light up the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday and being that the Packers possess a weak secondary, Cutler's words could serve as a little fortune telling.

With a veteran team like the Packers already upset about a loss in Week 1 and playing at home, talking smack before a game does not look too smart.
