New York Jets Injury Report: Darrelle Revis, Dustin Keller and Bryan Thomas Will Not Play On Sunday

Sep 14, 2012 02:12 PM EDT

Rex Ryan announced that Darrelle Revis, Dustin Keller and Bryan Thomas are all out on Sunday as the New York Jets face a conference foe in the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Revis, the Jets' and one of the leagues premier corner backs suffered a concussion against the Buffalo Bills. He was kicked in the head in Week 1 as the Jets went on to win in their home opener.

Keller, the Jets' tight end and the team's leading receiver with 815 yards will also be out of the game as he is still suffering from a bad hamstring. He did not even get to practice on Friday.

The defense took another hit as Thomas will also be held out.

All of these injuries will be key as the Jets look extremely vulnerable against the Steelers. They Jets have to go on the road and face a Steeler team that is seeking their first victory of the season as they dropped their season opener to the Denver Broncos 31-19.

Revis would have defended Mike Wallace, the Steelers' No. 1 receiver and by the looks of it, Wallace and Ben Roethlisberger will have a party on Sunday as they will probaby scortch the Jets' secondary.

For the Jets' offense, it will be without a big weapon as Keller provides a huge target. Stephen Hill and Santonio Holmes will have to step it up on Sunday.
