Just two weeks into the NFL season and people have speculated the move of Tim Tebow from the New York Jets. However, Tebow refuted these rumors.
Tebow said the rumors were as real as the NFL quarterback living in Hoboken, which was spread around early after his arrival to New York.
Gary Myers of he New York Daily News said that Tebow's tenure with the Jets could be over after the 2012 season.
"'At the end of the year, I think he will express those concerns to the Jets. He will want to move on," the source told Myers. 'The one thing about Tebow is he is the quintessential team player. He would never do anything that is going to undermine the team. But he's football-aholic. It's in his blood..."
Tebow, who was traded to the Jets from the Denver Broncos after their acquisition of Peyton Manning, does not have a designated role in the Jets' lineup.
With his talents, many believe he should be a starter. However, others have recommend Tebow switching positions. Suggestions have ranged from being the running back to being solely in special teams.
Myers believes that Tebow will eventually want to start and if Mark Sanchez continues to have big games like he did in Week 1 then Tebow will not have the chance to start as a Jet.
As expected, rumors of Tebow will be all over the media this season. Tebow was all over the news as a Bronco, so only imagine what will be said this season as he is with the Jets.
