The Buccaneers will attempt to add another victory to their 1-0 record as they were successful on Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers. Not that the Bucs are packed with talent, but now that the entire league thinks the New Orleans Saints are out of the NFC South, the Bucs possess a chance to surprise many in that division. A 2-0 start could help build momentum leading into the season.
With the Atlanta Falcons seeing the Denver Broncos, they might be 1-1 after Monday night. The Bucs have Josh Freeman and Vincent Jackson on offense and, as we saw from Tony Romo and his wide receivers last Wednesday, the Giants are feeble against the pass especially when their front four do not get to the quarterback.
It will be interesting to see how the Giants bounce back after their loss. Victor Cruz admitted to not being focused in their game against the Cowboys. Cruz is the Giants' No. 1 receiver now that Hakeem Nicks is recovering from his foot injury. Cruz has to bounce back from a poor performance. Many wonder if Cruz, who is now a big deal in the football world, will be capable of handling these pressures.
