Peyton Manning will look to lead his Denver Broncos as they clash with Matt Ryan and his Atlanta Falcons in a Monday Night Football showdown.
The Broncos close out Week 2 playing in prime time for the second week in a row after starting the season on Sunday Night Football, which resulted in a 31-19 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
No question that Manning is the cause of the Broncos' early season nationally-televised games. In the game against the Steelers, the 36-year-old completed 19 of 26 passes for 253 yards and two touchdown passes. His 71-yard touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas was his first as a Bronco and the 400th of his career.
The Broncos will hope for Thomas to be available for the game as he is listed probable due to a shoulder injury. The only player ruled out for the team is guard Chris Kuper, who is still recovering from a broken left forearm. His replacement, Manny Ramirez, is probable with an elbow injury, while cornerback Chris Harris (ankle) and rookie guard Philip Blake (thumb) are questionable.
On the other side of the field, there has been a ton of buzz surrounding the Falcons passing attack, as they didn't disappoint in Week 1.
As the 2-point road favorite over the Kansas City Chiefs, the Falcons won 40-24 fueled by Ryan's three touchdown passes and 299 passing yards.
With targets like Julio Jones, Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez, Ryan always seems to have an open man to throw to.
The game will pose as a great test for both teams.
