The NBA playoffs standings has the Golden State Warriors leading the Houston Rockets in the western conference finals 1-0 as the series pushes into Game 2 and the team won the first matchup 110-106 and now GS is leading the series and will look for a 2-0 start with the next game at home for Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

The Rockets took an early lead in the game and the Warriors were down close to the end, but they were able to make a comeback to get the victory. The Warriors were the best home team in the league this year, losing just two games in the regular season and now they have won Game 1 of the series. Curry had another strong game and he brought his kid out at the end to talk during his press conference.

Curry comes in after scoring 34 points, while Draymond Green also played well with 12 rebounds and eight assists. Curry had six rebounds and five assists in the game for the Warriors, while James Harden led the Rockets with 28 points and added 11 rebounds and nine assists. Dwight Hoard had 13 rebounds in the game for the Rockets and he could be banged up for Game 2 if he plays.

Howard was injured in Game 1 and now he could be out for Game 2 depending on the severity of the injury. Howard was hit by teammate Josh Smith in his knee, as Smith was posting up on Klay Thompson and fell into Howard as the play broke down. Howard was able to limp off and after going back into the locker room he later came back into the game.

The team is hoping that the injury is not serious and the Warriors ended up outscoring the Rockets in the point 44-32 after starting off down 20-6 in that category. Game 2 is on Thursday from Golden State and Howard said that he "hopefully" will be able to play for the game. According to Yahoo Sports, Howard said that he did not think that the injury was serious. Howard missed a chunk of time earlier this season while dealing with injuries.

The Cavaliers and the Hawks are starting their series on Wednesday night and things go down from Georgia as Atlanta hosts the matchup. The teams will play two in Atlanta before shifting to Cleveland and they come in as the top two teams in the east by seeds. The Cavaliers have been great at home overall this season, but so have the Hawks, as they only lost six times at home during the regular season.

LeBron James is averaging 25 points and seven assists in the playoffs and the Cavs will need him to continue playing well for any chance at winning the series. The Hawks come in after taking down the Wizards and they have gotten some strong play from Paul Millsap, who is averaging 16 points and seven rebounds per game in the playoffs.
