It has been a rough start for the Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns and Kansas Chiefs. Things are only bound to get tougher since all three of these teams will be 0-3 after their Week 3 schedules are not in their favor.
Buffalo Bills vs. Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns have had a tough start to the start of their season. They almost got a win at home against the Philadelphia Eagles, but then gave up 34 as they lost by a touchdown to the Bengals. I expect the Bills to run it up and down the field as C.J. Spiller leads the league in rushing so far in 2012.
The Browns still have to continue growing as a team. The Bills bounced back from their 48-28 defeat by the hands of the Jets in their last game and Ryan Fitzpatrick took care of the ball. The Bills are fourth in the league with 31.5 points scored in the season so far. Expect them to score around 30 points again on Sunday
Kansas City Chiefs vs. New Orleans Saints
This is the battle of the winless teams. Automatically, the Saints have the upperhand. Matt Cassel has thrown as many touchdowns as interceptions and has been sacked eight times in his first two starts.
The Chiefs have a mediocre running game and Cassel's arm kept the team in the game even though their defense let the Bills run all over them.
The Saints have struggled on defense as they have given up 75 points in two games, but the Chiefs do not have the offense that the Washington Redskins and Carolina Panthers have, which are the teams the Saints faced in their first two games of the season.
Expect the Saints to win and score over thirty points. Brees will have at least three touchdowns and no picks in this game.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Oakland Raiders
The Steelers proved they were back last week against the New York Jets. They tortured Mark Sanchez and bullied the Jets around all evening. Ben Roethlisberger did not have an oustanding game, but he out-performed Sanchez.
With the win, the Steelers proved that when their defense is in sync they are one of the toughest teams to beat in the NFL.
Carson Palmer needs a running game and a defense with the Raiders . He threw for 373 yards, but had a 50 percent completion percentage.
Darren McFadden averaged only 2 yards per carry and Palmer was second in the team with seven rushing yards. That is just pathetic.
Wait, making things worse is the Raiders' defense that gave up 35 points to the Miami Dolphins as Reggie Bush rushed for 172 yards and 2 touchdowns. That is embarassing.
Roethlisberger should have a decent game, but this one will be about the Steelers' defense. They might give up 10 points again. Maybe.
