Bart Scott Threatens Reporter Dan Leberfield, Both Were Separated in Locker Room

Line backer for the New York Jets, Bart Scott had to be separated from reporter Ben Leberfield on Friday after the two had an altercation in the teams' locker room. The Jets just could not stay out of the negative side of the press for too long.

Scott, who already has an interesting relationship with the media, threatened to punch Benerfield after the reporter took a picture with his pohone of Scott. The Jets' linebacker then responded "Get a life," which then led to the argument and altercation.

According to Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post, this is how it went down, as posted on his Twitter account:

Incident triggered by Leberfeld taking a phone pic of Scott, who responded by telling him to "get a life." Threats & puffed chests ensued.
Scott threatened to punch Leberfeld, who said, "Yeah, and I'll sue you!" Scott responded: "I don't care!"
Bart Scott just had to be separated from reporter Dan Leberfeld in the locker room. Bizarre scene.

Scott recently had a brush with the media as he did not like the way the Jets were being portrayed "You all talk stuff about us, and then when we win, you flip the story. You all win either way," Scott told USA Today reporters after the Jets demolished the Buffalo Bills 48-28.

If there is any good news for Jets fans, at least it is not Rex Ryan prediction a Super Bowl championship for the team. There is no pressure on the team following this incident and the only thing the Jets can do is go out, play and possibly walk out of Miami with a 2-1 record.
