Things seem to be going upside down in New England as middle linebacker Brandon Spikes is the latest Patriot to beef it up with the replacement officials following Sunday night's loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Spikes proceeded to call the referees "zebras" in his unhappy tweet.

To fans it might be funny.
The bad news for Spikes is that he might have further ticked off head coach Bill Belichick who was already visibly upset with the officials as he grabbed one of the referees following Sunday Night's game.
Who knows exactly by which call Belichick was ticked off about, but the Patriots were flagged 10 times in that game and he might have been upset at the field goal that was signaled to be good as it snuck just inside the right post.
Prior to the field goal, the Ravens were on the fortunate side of a pass interference called on the Patriots, but that was clearly a mistake on Devin McCourty's behalf.
Whatever the case is, Spikes is one of many people upset with the calls made by the replacement officials.
When ESPN has a bottom line dedicated just to referees' errors, you know it is a very big deal.
The NFL will review Belichick's contact with the ref and Spike might also be facing some penalties after speaking badly about the replacement officials.
