Both the Packers and the Seahawks are 1-1 and won their Week 2 matchups.
The Seahawks defeated Tono Romo and the Dallas Cowboys 27-7 on the legs of Marshawn Lynch.
The Packers will get a chance to defeat another NFC team as they humiliated their longtime rival the Chicago Bears 23-10. The score does not do justice to the beating the Packers placed on quarterback, loud mouth and teammate pushing Jay Cutler, who predicted he and Brandon Marshall would finish the game with a huge performance.
The Packers and the Seahawks are in third place in their divisions. The Packers are behind Bears and the Minnesota Vikings, while the Seahawks trail the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals.
Neither of them want to go 1-2 and fall into a fourth-place tie with the teams at the pit of the standings.
The Seahawks have faith in their young quarterback Russell Wilson and they believe he can have them in the playoffs out of the NFC Wild Card. The Cardinals look to be a tough matchup so the Seahawks cannot fall behind.
The Packers have slowed down two or three steps from their 2011 season. A loss would have them tied with the Detroit Lions for last place in the Central.
