Arsenal welcome struggling League One outfit Coventry City to the Emirates in the third round of the League Cup on Wednesday.
The Gunners have started the season in solid fashion, registering nine points from five games to sit fifth in the Premier League. Meanwhile, they overcame Montpellier in their Champions League clash last week.
Coventry meanwhile will be looking to kickstart their season. Having not recorded a victory in their first eight games in League One after last season's relegation, the Sky Blues have a new manager in Mark Robins and a few new players to try and boost them. A win at the Emirates could be just ther filip they need to punctuate a painful two years.
The last time the two sides met was in 2001, a game which saw a Dennis Bergkamp goal give Arsenal a 1-0 win at Highbury. Since then Coventry have slipped down the leagues and now find themselves languishing at the foot of League One whilst Arsenal continue to occupy the European qualification spots.
