The New York Jets are leading the AFC East. They will host the third place out of the NFC West, San Francisco 49ers.
The 49ers lost unexpectedly in Week 3 to a Minnesota Vikings team with a potent defense. They will look to rebound in Week 4 against a Jets team that has won against weaker opponents through their first three weeks of football this season.
The Jets defeated the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 and battled into overtime with the Miami Dolphins. They dropped their Week 2 match against the Pittsburgh Steelers. So on Sunday, the Jets will get to prove if they are true competitors this season.
If they are to win, they will do it without their main cornerback and one of the best in the NFL, Darrelle Revis who suffered a torn ACL last week against the Dolphins.
