The Houston Texans will try for a perfect 4-0 record for the first time in franchise history as they host the Tennessee Titans at 1:00 p.m. ET.
The Houston Texans were a popular pick to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl before the start of the season, and at 3-0 there is very little reason to doubt that those predictions could eventually be correct.
The Texans sit third in the NFL in scoring defense, allowing just 14 points per game.
Head coach Gary Kubiak feels confident that the Texans can continue their hot start, but they need to protect quarterback Matt Schaub better, as well as a continue to play a complete game.
Tennessee, meanwhile, needs to improve its rushing attack if it hopes to pull within a game of the Texans in the AFC South. The struggles of Chris Johnson have grabbed more headlines, but the Titans defense has been the biggest reason why they currently have a losing record.
The Titans are currently ranked 29th in rushing yards allowed (150 per game), 30th in passing yards allowed (312 yards per game), and in last place at 32nd in the league in points allowed (37.7 points per game).
