Week 4 will conclude with the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears on Monday, but there were plenty of heartbreakers and blowouts on Sunday. We bring you all the results and scores of Week 4.
New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles took first place after the Giants' kicker, Lawrence Tynes missed a 54-yard field goal twice late in the fourth quarter in what would have given the Giants a win and grasp for the No. 1 spot in the NFC East. The score finished 19-17 in favor of Vick and the Eagles. Eli Manning finished with 309 yards passing, 2 TDs and 1 INT. Vick had 241 passing yards an 1 TD. LeSean McCoy rushed for 123 yards, while the Giants had no running game at all.
Carolina Panthers vs. Atlanta Falcons
A late fumble with 1:46 left in the game from Cam Newton cost the Panthers the win on Sunday. Matt Ryan and Roddy White hooked up for a 59-yarder in the final drive of the game that set up the game-winning 40-yard field goal by Matt Bryant, The Falcons won 30-28, remaining perfect in 2012.
Miami Dolphins vs. Arizona Cardinals
It is those weaker teams that do the most trouble. Kevin Kolb needed a game-tying drive late in the fourth to push the Cardinals and Dolphins to overtime. The Dolphins were in their second overtime in back-to-back games. Jay Feely kicked the game-winning field goal keeping the Cardinals perfect. The Dolphins' Brian Hartline set a franchise record with 253 receiving yards in the game. Ryan Tannehill had a career day with 431 passing yards.
Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans
The Texans remain the hottest team in the league as they once again breezed through a victory. They scored 14 points in the first quarter, 14 in the third and 10 in the fourth quarter. They beat the Titans 38-14 to stay perfect and dominant.
Buffalo Bills vs. Tom Brady
The New England Patriots' turned this one into a college football score late in the game after trailing 21-7 in the third. Turnovers gave them issues in the first half, but they played great defense, which set up the offense in the second half. Brady finished with three touchdowns and 340 yards thrown. This one finished 52-28 in favor of the Pats.
San Francisco 49ers vs. New York Jets
I don't think explaining what happened in this one will do the score any justice. 49ers bounced back and looked dominant against the Jets as they pounded them 34-0. Colin Kaepernick the future for the 49ers?
San Diego Chargers 37-20 Kansas City Chiefs
The Chargers continue to dominate the AFC West after crushing the Chiefs. Their 17-point first quarter gave them a huge lead early that they would not relinquish.
Minnesota Vikings 20-13 Detroit Lions
The Vikings continue to roll in the NFC North. They are 3-1 in the season, surprisingly. They were up 20-6 by the fourth quarter and they were able to hold on to the win.
Green Bay Packers 28-27 New Orleans Saints
Aaron Rodgers had one more touchdown than Brees despite throwing 127 less yards. Packers held on late as Garrett Hartley missed the game winning field goald. Brees has thrown a TD in 47 straight games.
