QPR is currently the worst team in the Barclays standings having only managed to get two draws in their five matches played.
Not that this is any reason to celebrate, but one of those two draws came against first place Chelsea just two weeks ago. Both clubs finished in a 0-0 tie. Right now, it is the only blemish on the Blues' record.
QPR has only had one of their first five games really get out of hand. In the first week of the premier league, Swansea bombarded them with five goals. The following week QPR had a draw with Norwich.
Then they traveled to Manchester City and lost 1-3, right before their draw with Chelsea. Last week they dropped one to Tottenham in a close 2-1 match.
West Ham finds itself No. 10 in the standings. They are 2-2-1 with their one loss coming against Swansea in the second week of games.
Their last two matches finished in draws. Norwich and West Ham went scoreless two weeks ago and last week they managed a 1-1 tie against Sunderland.
A win for West Ham today would get them up around the Top 5. A win or draw for QPR could land them out of thei dreaded three-worse teams in the league.
