Premier League Transfer Rumors and News: Arsenal Has Agreement With Petr Cech From Chelsea, Raheem Sterling Chase Continues

Arsenal has reportedly reached an agreement with Petr Cech from Chelsea for $17 million and now the goaltender is set to join the Gunners in the English Premier League after losing out his main spot to Thibaut Courtois for the Blues and this comes as the Raheem Sterling situation continues with Liverpool, as the star is being targeted by numerous teams, including Manchester City and Chelsea.

According to Pro Soccer Talk, the Daily Mail reports that Cech is on his way to Arsenal after coming to terms with the club and it comes after Cech spent the majority of his career with Chelsea. Cech has won numerous titles with the Blues and now he will stay in the Premier League by signing with Arsenal. Cech is 33 years old and should have another strong run in him and he comes in with Wojciech Szczesny and David Ospina on the depth chart.

Cech comes in after playing nearly 500 games since playing for Chelsea and he previously helped the team win in the Champions League, FA Cup and Premier League. Cech moving to an EPL team had been rumored about since earlier in the season, as he had been demoted at Chelsea and said he wanted to be in a different situation. Cech was once considered one of the best keepers in the world and while he may not be quite up to that skill now, he still is a high quality goaltender.

Liverpool and Raheem Sterling are still dealing with a contract situation and a move is likely with the team looking at £50 million for the fee. The team reportedly wants that from Man City if a deal happens and they are considered one of the top targets for Sterling, according to the BBC.
