The NBA draft for 2015 starts on Thursday from Brooklyn at the Barclays Center and the event will have coverage on TV from ESPN and a live stream from the WatchESPN website as names like Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor, Kristaps Porzingis and D'Angelo Russell get picked and the first round will begin past 7 pm ET and the main ESPN.com site has a full tracker for all the picks and trades.
Coming into the draft there has been plenty of speculation about trades and teams moving back in the first round and that could happen with the Knicks. Karl-Anthony Towns is reportedly going to be the first overall pick and the Lakers have the second pick and could take Jahlil Okafor or D'Angelo Russell. The Sixers like will take Russell if he is there at three, but if not, the team could trade the pick.
Okafor is a player that the Knicks desperately want and there is a chance they could get him but only if the Lakers take Russell. The Sixers could look at Euro big man Kristaps Porzingis as an option, but he likely will be out of the top four. Emmanuel Mudiay and Justise Winslow could be options for the Knicks at four, but Phil Jackson has said that the team will consider making a trade with the pick.
