Chris Davis helped keep the Orioles help alive with a homer that etched out Tampa Bay giving them a 1-0 victory.
With that homerun, Davis tied the franchise mark set by Reggie Jackson, hitting seven homers in his last six contests.
Rookie pitcher Miguel Gonzalez struck out seven hitters and only allowed two hits and a pair of walks in 6 innings.
Right handed pitcher Chris Tilman will get the start in the game against Tampa Bay. Tillman, who is 9-2 with a 2.78 ERA, won his fourth straight decision on Friday against Boston. The last time he faced the Rays he lead the Orioles to a win, but is 1-2 with a 4.68 ERA in six starts against them.
For Tampa they will rely on right handed pitcher Jeremy Hellickson. The reigning AL Rookie of the Year is now 9-11 with a 3.20 ERA. Hellickson lost to the Chicago White Sox on Friday, as he surrendered three runs (2 earned) and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings.
In 11 games (10 starts) against the Orioles, Hellickson is 5-3 with a 2.49 ERA.
