A game between the team at the top of the table against one in the bottom three should be a foregone conclusion, and for Saturday's early English Premier League kickoff that is exactly how it looks as Chelsea host Norwich City at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are unbeaten and have a near-perfect record of five wins and a draw from their six games, while Norwich are yet to win a single match.
Roberto Di Matteo's side have hardly been at their best, but have always found a way to get the results, highlighted by the impressive victory against Arsenal last Saturday at the Emirates.
The form of Juan Mata bodes well for Chelsea, as the Blues look like a completely different outfit with the Spaniard in their team. While Di Matteo has plenty of options in the playmaking department, Mata's vision and ability to find the final ball has not quite been matched by either Eden Hazard or Oscar, while Marko Marin is yet to get a full game for his new side.
Mata has scored four goals in his last three games, and was instrumental in the win over FC Nordsjaelland in the Champions League. After an explosive start to the season, Hazard has cooled down a little bit, but that can only be a worry for Chris Hughton's men, as the Belgian international could create havoc in the Norwich defense which has already conceded 13 goals - Norwich have not managed to keep a clean sheet in their last 36 top flight games, a Premier League record.
What must be a cause for worry though is that Chelsea are yet to hit their straps offensively. The Blues are only doing just enough, and apart from a League Cup game, they have hardly blown away an opponent. With the talent at Di Matteo's disposal, there is no doubt that this side should be more potent with their offense, although the same front four of Fernando Torres, Hazard, Oscar and Mata are expected to start.
Defensively, though, there are no problems whatsoever, having given away just three goals all season. John Terry and David Luiz should again start the game, with Ashley Cole and Branislav Ivanovic solid as ever in the full-back areas.
Norwich, who have made their worst-ever start in the league, were thrashed 5-3 by Liverpool last weekend, and Hughton wants his players to put that loss behind them and give a better performance against the table toppers.
"What we're always looking for is a reaction," Hughton told the club's official website. "After what happened on the opening day against Fulham we got a reaction and we were able to sustain it. But it's part and parcel of the game -- this is when you look for character in the team.
"We've done some good work this week, and we'll look for a reaction. We need to remember that we've played six league games and in between two poor performances we've had four good performances.
"What we have been guilty of is not getting the points we deserved from those four games. But there are enough positives to take from the season so far to make sure we don't dwell on the negatives -- they are very much in the past and we look forward to the next game."
Expected line-ups: Chelsea: Cech, Cole, Terry, Luiz, Ivanovic, Mikel, Ramires, Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Torres.
Norwich: Ruddy, Martin, Bennett, Turner, Garrido, Howson, Johnson, Surman, Snodgrass, Hoolahan, Holt.
