The Giants are remembering their loss to the Browns in 2008 as they had a perfrect start to their post-Super Bowl season. The Giants underestimated the Browns and they lost 14-35.
However, this time around, the Giants say they will be ready. The key once again will be having one of their low profile wide receivers step up and serve as a useful target for Eli Manning. Ramses Barden, who had stepped up in recent games, will be out.
Rookie Rueben Randle will have to step up as Hakeem Nicks has yet to return healthy.
So far in the season, he has one reception and four yards. Domenik Hixon will have to stay healthy as he had a big game for the Giants against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4, catching six passes for 114 yards.
The Browns almost put all the stops to the Baltimore Ravens in their Thursday Night matchup. They had a chance to tie late in the game as they were down 23-16, but the offense could not pull it through in the final seconds of the game.
